OACETT certification process ကို စိတ်ဝင်စားတဲ့သူတွေအတွက် Associate Member ကနေ Certified Member (C.Tech / C.E.T.) ဖြစ်တဲ့အထိ ကိုယ်တိုင်ဖြတ်သန်းခဲ့တဲ့ process ကို knowledge sharing အနေနဲ့ မျှဝေပေးချင်ပါတယ်
(Applicant တစ်ယောက်နဲ့တစ်ယောက် assessment requirement က education နဲ့ experience ပေါ်မူတည်ပြီး မတူနိုင်ပါဘူးနော်
Part -1 အနေနဲ့ Associate member ကနေ Certified member process ကို အရင် ရှင်းပြသွားပါမယ်
Step 1 — OACETT Associate Member လျှောက်ခြင်း
ပထမဆုံး OACETT Associate Member အနေနဲ့ apply လုပ်ရပါတယ်။
ပုံမှန်လိုအပ်တတ်တဲ့ documents တွေက —
• Diploma / Degree Certificate
• Official & Unofficial Transcript
• Resume
• Job Description
• ID documents
• Canada မှာရှိတဲ့ status proof (Visa / PR / Citizenship)
• English Language Qualification
• Professional References
English မဟုတ်တဲ့ documents တွေဆို translation / notarization လိုနိုင်ပါတယ်
Documents submit လုပ်ပြီးရင် OACETT က ကိုယ့် academic background နဲ့ work experience ကို assessment လုပ်ပါတယ်။
Step 2 — Academic & Experience Assessment
ဒီအဆင့်မှာ OACETT က ကိုယ့် background က
✅ C.Tech pathway လား
ဒါမှမဟုတ်
✅ C.E.T pathway လား ဆိုတာ determine လုပ်ပေးပါတယ်။
လူတော်တော်များများက C.Tech နဲ့ C.E.T ကို ကိုယ်ရွေးလို့ရတယ်ထင်ကြပေမယ့် တကယ်တော့ OACETT assessment ပေါ်မူတည်တာပါ
Assessment လုပ်တဲ့အခါ —
• Education length
• Subjects studied
• Technical responsibility
• Work experience level တို့ကိုကြည့်ပြီး pathway assign လုပ်ပါတယ်။
C.Tech နဲ့ C.E.T ဘာကွာလဲ?
✅ C.Tech (Certified Technician)
ပုံမှန်အားဖြင့် —
• 2-year technician diploma
• Technician level responsibilities
• Support / implementation focused roles ရှိသူတွေကို assign လုပ်တတ်ပါတယ်။
✅ C.E.T. (Certified Engineering Technologist)
ပုံမှန်အားဖြင့် —
• 3-year technologist diploma or degree-equivalent education
• Higher technical responsibility
• Design, analysis, coordination, problem-solving work ရှိသူတွေကို assign လုပ်တတ်ပါတယ်။
Internationally educated applicants တွေအတွက်တော့ ကိုယ့် education ကို Canadian standard နဲ့ compare လုပ်ပြီး pathway determine လုပ်ပေးတာပါ
Hera ရဲ့ Pathway → C.E.T.
Hera ရဲ့ assessment result အရ OACETT က C.E.T pathway assign ပေးခဲ့ပါတယ်
Requirement list ထဲမှာ —
✅ English Language Benchmark
✅ Graduation from a 3-Year Acceptable Academic Program
✅ Minimum 2 Years of Acceptable Work Experience at Technologist Level
✅ Professional Practice Exam (PPE)
✅ Technology Report Proposal
✅Technology Report တို့ပါဝင်ပါတယ်။
Step 3 — PPE (Professional Practice Exam)
Eligibility approval ရပြီးမှ PPE exam register လုပ်လို့ရတာပါ 😊
အခု PPE exam က online on-demand system ဖြစ်တဲ့အတွက် fixed exam date မရှိတော့ပါဘူး။
Eligibility ရပြီးတာနဲ့ anytime register လုပ်ပြီး ကိုယ်အဆင်ပြေတဲ့နေ့ online ဖြေလို့ရပါတယ်
Step 4 — Technology Report
C.E.T applicants တချို့အတွက် —
• Technology Report Proposal
• Technology Report တင်ရပါတယ်။
ဒီ report က ကိုယ့် technical/project experience အပေါ်အခြေခံပြီးရေးရတာဖြစ်ပြီး
technical knowledge, problem-solving skill, communication ability နဲ့ professional competency တွေကို demonstrate လုပ်ရတာပါ
Final Step — Certified Member
Assign ပေးထားတဲ့ requirements အားလုံး complete ဖြစ်သွားရင် —
✅ Academic requirement
✅ Work experience
✅ PPE exam
✅ Technology report (if assigned)
✅ Reference & document review
ပြီးတဲ့အခါ Official Certified Member designation ရရှိနိုင်ပါတယ်
ဆိုလိုတာက —• C.Tech ဒါမှမဟုတ်• C.E.T. designation ကို officially အသုံးပြုလို့ရသွားတာပါ
