I talked to someone today about the baggage I’ve been carrying, and they said things that genuinely shook me.

That I’m “threatened by peace.”
That I’ve been “hiding in the noise.”
That stability feels like commitment.

And that maybe I’m not threatened by peace at all - I’m just not used to it yet.

Destiny remains one of the most valuable sci‑fi IPs in gaming. Regardless of the ongoing issues within Bungie’s team, the franchise warrants a proper continuation. A well‑executed Destiny 3 would unlock the potential the IP has always carried.

I love MMORPGs - always have, always will. But man… sometimes being an MMO player feels like paying a “platform tax” every time life changes.

New World is basically gone.
Dune: Awakening isn’t on consoles yet.
So I figured I’d reinstall Elder Scrolls Online on PS5 and get back into a world I’ve supported for years.

Then it hit me:

All the expansions I bought on Xbox - over $1k across years of subs, chapters, and Crown Store purchases - none of it carries over.
Not a single thing.

New platform = start from zero.
Zero progress.
Zero expansions.
Zero entitlements.
Zero value from years of support.

It’s honestly one of the biggest hurdles in returning to an MMO.
Not the grind.
Not the learning curve.
Not the time investment.

It’s the feeling of having to rebuy your entire history just because you changed hardware.

I still love these worlds.
I still want to dive back in.
But damn… starting over shouldn’t cost this much.

I’ve been doing a lot of work on myself lately - trying to become a better version of who I was, not just as a creator, but as a person. Part of that has meant changing the way I speak, the way I carry myself, and the energy I bring into the world.

One thing I’ve struggled with is playing games with friends whose style is a lot harsher than mine - heavy language, w**d on mic, that whole vibe. There’s no judgment in that. People live how they live. But it’s just not me anymore.

I’m trying to build something different.
Something calmer.
Something more intentional.
Something that reflects the person I’m becoming.

I still love playing with people. I still want to share those moments. I just need to find a way to do it that doesn’t pull me back into habits I’m trying to leave behind.

If you’ve ever tried to grow past an older version of yourself, you probably know the feeling.

I’m still figuring it out - but I’m committed to staying on this path.

I think I’ve reached the ARC Raiders addiction stage where there’s no turning back. I play it. I stream it. I watch videos about it. I even dragged a friend into the chaos with me.

At this point I’m basically an unpaid ARC Raiders ambassador.
What’s next - recruiting strangers at Costco?
Handing out pamphlets titled “Have You Accepted ARC Into Your Life Today”

If you see me online… just know I’m fine.
Totally fine.
Absolutely normal behavior.
Anyway, I’ll be streaming it again tonight.
