I get asked a lot over the years what I do to encourage my own kids to be creative and this post is waaaay overdue! There is more than one way, this is just what I do and what I think works as an artist myself, I hope this helps!
Fun fact, my parents actually most of these things too which I think is a huge part of shaping the artist I am today 🥰
P.S. I have young kids, ages five and two so things like materials and set up look a little different as I am deep in the early years. I foresee the environment and materials changing significantly as my kids grow up and I’m sure I’ll do more posts about what’s working in those years too when I get there!
