Sometimes you just have to walk up to the strangers and ask to take their picture.

And sometimes you meet some of the nicest people you've come across in a long time!

Thank you to this lovely couple and their sweet pup Violet for letting me practice with them. 🩵🐾

That first flower is such a unique colour, I wish I could have found a whole bouquet of just that one!

I was out on a mission to find some winter birds🦆 when driving along the river I saw something big moving pretty quickly. When I pulled over to see what it was I was shocked!🦌

This poor guy had been motoring along the St Clair River for over an hour at that point according to a neighbour who came out to join me. He didn’t seem tired but I can’t imagine he wasn’t with the power of the wind that day and the journey he had already made.

I just hope rescuers were able to successfully get him to safety before he made it out into the open waters because he was traveling at quite the clip.

Definitely not something you see everyday and normally I wouldn’t have my long lens with me to capture something out in the distance like that but the stars aligned that day!

Hoping you’re back to safety my furry friend!🦌
