Always awesome having you in and thank you for this one, made me super happy to make this tattoo for you🤘🤘Shannon gave me a rough idea and a direction to run in and then told me to go to town with the shading so to town I went! In progress, three hours in, nine hours of design time because learning takes time. The after hours work is where the sweat happens. Once the needles hit skin it’s game time, I’m in my element and taking my sweet ass time isn’t an option. Tattooing with purpose. You’re paying for the tattoo time, you’re enduring the pain, I’m managing the pain and doing everything I can to maximize the time and endurance the day possesses. Kevin asked me to do whatever I wanted. He wears many tattoos by my hand and many from some top notch artists that come from Japanese traditional backgrounds so it was time to put it to action. I used motion and the maple leaves to tie into the rest of his work. He now wears all of the elements and the colour choice plays to the accompanying piece adjacent to this one. We finish just before harvest starts. Clients like these are the gems. Those who sit well, trust the process and push me to better myself always. Kindersley is home to many who ask this of me and I am so fortunate to be in this space. Can’t wait to see you for the next session my man 🤘 solid as always.

Wanted share one of yesterday’s appointments. I make a lot of tattoos that weren’t done well look good after the fact and this is a perfect example. After an hour and a half it’s now solid. Thank you very much Christina! If you have something that needs fixing up reach out and we can talk about options. Progress snippets from the last couple of days. Some healed some fresh on both. Loving the bright colours and the muted tones of each piece. Versatile pallets. Still have the background to do after all the colour is finished on the phoenix.

Fall and winter wishlist project #9. This one’s been on my mind for some time now. Got my hopes up when someone called it a year back and backed out but it’s ready to go, it’s bold, it’s grim it’s punchy and will move well with the body. All of these projects I’m posting will need to be tailored to the individual as we’re all different. Your leg doesn’t look like the one in the picture? No problem. Let’s meet up for a consultation and take a tracing cast of your leg and I’ll get to fitting it to your size and dimensions! As always, consultations are at 11:40 to noon Tuesday through Saturday!! Fall and winter 26/27 project wishlist #8. This one can be made in traditional colour if you wish and is cut to allow for full legs to be tied in. I can and will extend if you have ideas to continue this one down the legs. Elegant and made to age gracefully while maintaining legibility. Fall and winter 26/27 project wishlist #6 and #7. When I tattooed in Edmonton I had found a pocket of work that entailed a lot of geometry, symmetry and pattern with lots of clean lines and depth. I’ve had some time to play with ideas as I haven’t done a ton out here though the ones I have done have been a blast to work on, you know who you are! It’s time to revisit this old discipline. I’m open to colour or black and grey. High contrast though, regardless of what you decide to do with them!

The debt paid ensuring safe crossing of the River Styx to avoid wandering the banks for 100 years. Neat concept and one I’d love to make into a tattoo! From dust to dust.

Fall and winter 26/27 wish list #4. This one fits so nicely and is already drawn at full size as are the others. Made to age well and be readable from across the street! I would be so stoked to finally see this one in the skin!! 🌼 this one isn’t as big as the others and I can probably have this one done (depending on size and how you sit) in one to two sessions.
