Stitch was the birthday girl’s favorite today and I had some willing models at home for practice 😄🎨 He is so fun to paint, should have added him way earlier but this is the first time I got a specific request for him 😅

🔥 The wildfire situation has been bad in the Okanagan this summer. A few festivals I’d been booked for, including the last day of the Penticton Peach Festival and the entire Kelowna Made festival have been cancelled due to smoke/risk of smoke/the current wildfire situation. An upcoming event is under air quality watch right now.

This is unfortunate but obviously a small concern in the grand scheme of things right now!

Festival organizers are making responsible decisions with the best information available on hand at the time. And I believe we the vendors should 1) appreciate we are experiencing ”force majeure” circumstances at this time and therefore 2) do our best to refund/partially refund/credit deposits towards another event (depending on the exact situation) and also responsibly maintain the appropriate cash reserves in order to be able to do so.

Hope next summer is easier on us and hope everyone that has been affected by the wildfires is doing ok out there 💔

I think our tent at the Penticton Peach Festival Home Hardware Kids Zone looked pretty fun last week 🌈
Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to bring my face painting art to this year’s festival as yesterday’s festival activities got cancelled due to the fires 🔥 This is obviously a very very small concern in the grand scheme of things right now 💔
However we have some more fun public events coming up this Aug- stay tuned for the next post!!
