Kelowna Made has been cancelled.
After careful consideration, the decision has been made to cancel this weekend's Kelowna Made festival. With nearby wildfires, worsening air quality and emergency resources already under strain, putting the safety of volunteers, vendors, performers and residents first is the right decision.

We know this news is disappointing for everyone who was looking forward to celebrating together, and we're grateful to the vendors, performers, volunteers, sponsors and community partners who helped bring this year's event to life.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the current wildfire situation, and we extend our sincere gratitude to the firefighters, first responders, emergency personnel, support crews and volunteers working to protect communities across the region.

The Kelowna Made 2026 team and the City of Kelowna are closely monitoring the local wildfire situation, air quality conditions, and guidance from emergency management officials to determine whether the event can safely proceed.

The safety and well-being of our attendees, participants, volunteers, staff, vendors, and the broader community remains our highest priority. If conditions warrant a cancellation or modification to the event, we will make that decision based on the best available information and in the interest of public safety.

At this time, Kelowna Made 2026 is proceeding as planned, and our team remains hopeful that we will be able to welcome the community to the event. We are continuing to monitor conditions daily and are working closely with the appropriate authorities.

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the current wildfire situation. We are deeply grateful for the dedication and tireless efforts of our firefighters, first responders, emergency personnel, and support crews who are working to protect our communities.

We encourage everyone to follow official emergency information sources for the latest updates and to continue monitoring Kelowna Made 2026 communication channels for any event-related announcements.
