I finally finished the baby quilt! This one took me about a month to complete, but it was an hour or two here and there....

I finally finished the baby quilt! This one took me about a month to complete, but it was an hour or two here and there. The pattern for the sloth came from Suzy’s Sitcom (https://suzyssitcom.com/2026/05/bedtime-critters-sew-along-block-4.html). She is doing a sew along at the moment for different bedtime critters. The latest was a cute little pig with its Teddy. All 12 make up a quilt, but you can also make baby quilts with them.

I used free motion quilting and hand sewed the back of the binding.

Work in progress! This one will be a baby quilt. If you like to appliqué quilt, check out Suzy’s Sitcom. She usually has a bunch of free patterns every month that eventually make a quilt, if you get in at the start. Right now she has the cutest Bedtime Critters. We’re on block 3.

I did the small blocks first, but there is more color coming, and the center block will be appliquéd and embroidered. I’m not too far away from completion now! Yay!! (In hindsight, putting it on a white background was not a good idea 🙄)
