This one was lot of work! Took a lot of 'time' to make this! (haha). Several mantle clocks later, some Temu bits, crushed glass and glitter and we have 'Clockworx'. The third one for 2026 in preparation for upcoming shows this summer.

Back in the country and back from injury and finally back in the studio! It's the Year of the Horse and fire is the element for 2026 so here is '2026 Year of the Firehorse' to start my year of resin glass creations. This one is the 3rd horse motif, first
'Strawberry Roan' (sold), second 'Blue Roan' (sold) and more to come. This piece is so much fun to create using bike parts, jewelry, glass beads and this time some resin dye that I won't stop until I have a herd of resin glass horses!

I posted these earlier, they will be in the Jasper Art Gallery 2026 Buzz show that starts Jan 27! Thanks to Mike for delivering them as I am in Japan. I rescued these two kitchen cabinet doors, taped the crayons down, then melted them with a hot air gun and poured resin over top of all of it.

Trying to sketch every day but sometimes just don't have the energy after being on the slopes teaching all day. Here are a few recent ones, but these are not the mountains here in Japan. Happy New Year!

I try and sketch every day. Find a coffee table book or travel magazines at a used book store and start drawing. Its all pen and ink and value studies, light, medium, dark shapes. Good practice for painting!

Here is my latest addition to the Jasper Art Gallery. I call it 'Horsing Aorund'. What was once a washing machine door is now a portal into a water world. Complete with seahorse molds, olive oil bottle seaweed and a message in a bottle floating n the ocean waves! Next is 'Winter Aurora' using crushed iridescent glass for the snow, tempered glass for the trees and mica powder for the northern lights. Finally 'Amber Plate' a cool thrift store find of coloured glass, (not much out there!)

My new studio, lots of windows and great views (sometimes) ha ha! And my new beer (yum!), and my new ski area (sad) and my new room with a (cloudy) view. Hope there is some snow in those clouds!
