Happy Father's Day to all the dads, stepdads, grandpas, uncles, and father figures who show up with love, patience, encouragement, and the occasional terrible dad joke 💜

The little things you do every day often become the big things we remember years later. Thank you for the lessons, the laughter, the support, and for always being someone we can count on.

Wishing all the amazing dads out there a day filled with love, appreciation, and maybe a little time to relax. 🧶✨

I was nominated by the amazing and talented Gina's Artisanal Handmade Crafts to take part in a 10 day challenge of showing one product photo and nominating one other small business to participate! She gave me the sweetest nomination: "I nominate Hook And Heart Co, an amazing creator, supporter, and someone I look up to, especially when it comes to self care" 🥰💕

Today I nominate: Spitfire Creations

Day 9: This adorable crochet sea turtle is soft, squishy, and full of personality! 🐢💙 Handmade with plush yarn for extra cuddles, it's the perfect gift for ocean lovers, turtle enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates handmade cuteness. As always, colours can be customized to create your perfect little turtle friend!

I finally sent out a little piece of Hook and Heart CO to become part of Reclaiming My Shadow's Ripple Rock Garden all the way in Texas 💕🪨🧶

This sweet project is all about kindness, connection, and creating little ripples of positivity — one rock at a time. So of course I had to make mine crochet themed! 🩵

“TINY STITCHES, BIG RIPPLES” felt absolutely perfect for it because that’s honestly what this little community has always been about for me. A small act of kindness, a handmade gift, a supportive comment, a shared laugh… those tiny stitches really do create big ripples. 💖

(Sorry Mama Shay, I put a bit more on mine than you asked for. I couldn't help it; I was on a rock painting kick.)

I love the idea that a little rock from Houston, Canada will now sit among rocks from all over, each one carrying a story and a bit of heart with it. 🌎✨

And if any of my followers would like to send their own rock too, you absolutely should! I’m sure Mama Shay would love seeing even more kindness arrive from all over the world. 💕🪨

What would YOU put on your ripple rock?

Day 8: Designed with a simple, no-fuss look and a more masculine feel, these men's fingerless driving gloves are all about function and comfort. The chunky texture gives them that cozy, thermal warmth while still keeping your fingers free for steering, shifting, or grabbing that much-needed coffee on the road ☕

Perfect for truck drivers, commuters, or anyone spending time behind the wheel this winter — because cold steering wheels are no joke 🥶

Each pair is handmade with care and can be customized in colours to match your style (or your rig 😉).

Mood trackers!

You guys, I have just discovered "Bullet Point Journal Mood Trackers" and I'm in love with them! Who wouldn't want to open up a journal to this adorableness every day?! And instead of a boring note on a calendar app, you get to colour a little bit each day!

There are all kinds of free printable ones available online. I've included some of my favourites in this collage.

What do you guys think? What design would you choose?

My friend came over wearing the cutest headband, and apparently Mya became immediately fascinated with it 😂🐾

So naturally… we had to try it on her.

Honestly, I don’t think she’s completely convinced this was a good idea, but she tolerated us just long enough for photos with that classic husky “I’m judging all of your choices right now” expression 🤍

Mya’s side-eye is giving: “I may have done something… but unless you have proof, I think we should all just move on.” 👀🐾😂

The tiny guilty glance, the frozen stance, the “act natural” energy… huskies really are little furry drama queens sometimes 🤍

Day 6: Hook And Heart Co’s “Egg Kindness Drops” are little handmade crocheted eggs designed to spread smiles, kindness, and a bit of unexpected joy throughout our community. 💛 Each one is lovingly created and secretly “egged” onto a vehicle or left for someone to discover, along with a tag encouraging them to keep the kindness going by sharing a photo and passing the joy on to someone else. It’s such a simple but heartwarming reminder that even the smallest gestures can brighten someone’s entire day — and seeing these little eggs pop up around town has been such a fun and meaningful way to connect people through kindness, creativity, and community spirit.
