Some highlights from Romania!
Finished with the Romania portion of my trip, and just arrived in Budapest, Hungary last night!
Romania was gorgeous - lots of rolling hills, mountains and ancient buildings with beautiful architecture. We visited a few castles, including Bran Castle (the inspiration for Bram Stoker's Dracula's Castle). Got to see the famous She-wolf statue of Romulus and Remus, in person (wish the pictures were a bit better)! The street dogs of Romania are super chill, and the people here respect them. Much like the cows in India, they will lay in the middle of busy touristy streets, and the cars will literally just go around them! 😆❤️ And of course I got to eat traditional meals here, like sarmale and polenta. 🤤
I'll be in Hungary now with my family until July 25th. Looking forward to this last part of my trip! 😊🐺
