I found this frame and canvas in the back attic of my parents' house. I thought it would be a great experiment to try my style technique on canvas. This was harder than I expected, but I'm comfortable with the final results enough to share. I prefer my 300-pound paper way more and will definitely do this one again on paper to add to my Hamilton series.

This graphite piece 'CHIMO' created on watercolour paper was another first for me. I found this change allowed me to capitalize on the texture of the paper and create a larger-than-usual artwork.

Last night saw the completion of another commission, with three more pieces now wrapped and ready to be picked up. It's been an exciting season, filled with inspiration and creativity, and there's still time to bring your own unique vision to life with a custom graphite or watercolour commission. For now, the finished pieces will remain a secret, but rest assured, they will be revealed as soon as possible.

I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge. Although adding color to my graphite is unfamiliar territory, I rose to the occasion. The client stressed the importance of accurately depicting the twins' color scheme, including the specific shades they wear. This piece ultimately made for a heartwarming gift to their parents, celebrating the twins' first birthday and launching a beautiful gallery wall filled with treasured memories.

The portraits of two brothers, rendered in graphite on paper and measuring 11x14 inches, are now complete. When undertaking commissions involving dual portraits intended for side-by-side display, I pay meticulous attention to ensuring proportional and tonal consistency. Additionally, I collaborate with clients to select photographs that accurately reflect the subjects' personalities, thereby creating a meaningful and personalized work of art.
