“Phaili Hui Hai Sapno ki” is a beautiful melody by Shri S.D. Burman for the 1955 movie “House No. 44.” This song is based on Raag Shuddha Kalyan and is written by Sahit Ludhianvi ji. I collaborated with my sister, Sadhana, on this song, and the second voice on this recreation is hers.

“Mai Ri Main Kase Kahoon” is composed by Madan Mohan ji from the 1970 movie “Dastak.” This song is based on Raag Bageshri and is written by Majrooh Sultanpuri ji. Only Lata ji could do justice to this awesome composition.

“Baat Baat Mein Rootho Na” is another gem by the amazing music director duo Shankar-Jaikishan ji composed in Raag Kafi. The lyrics for this song are written by Hasrat Jaipuri ji and sung with passion by Lata ji for the 1955 movie “Seema.”

“Betaab Dil Ki Tamanna Yehi Hai” is a masterpiece composition by Madan Mohan ji from the 1973 movie “Hanste Zakhm.” This song is based on Raag Pilu with the added influence of Raag Kirwani. This song is written by Kaifi Azmi saheb and is sung by Lata ji.

“Suno Sajana Papihe Ne” is a beautiful melody from the 1966 movie “Aye Din Bahar ke.” Directed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal ji, written by Anand Bakshi ji, and sung by Lata ji, this song is based on Raag Bihag with shades of Raag Shuddha Sarang and Raag Shyam Kalyan.
