Elevate Summer Dance Intensive delivers top-tier summer training designed to strengthen technique, artistry, and confidence.

Since 2016, Elevate has united dancers of all studios in Halifax, NS for junior and senior intensives. Held each year at the beautiful campus of The University of King’s College, Dancers come from all over Nova Scotia and the Maritimes to fully immerse themselves in a supportive and uplifting dance environment. Founded by Brittney McCarthy, Elevate was created to offer a training program to bring

the elite dance community together. Elevate Summer Dance Intensive has grown to be a place that dancers thrive and love to be. We’ve kicked off another week with these talented dancers! It’s hard to believe that our last intensive of the summer is here! Hoping to savor every minute in the studio together as best as we can! 💚✨

We wrapped our first Junior photoshoot! 📸✨ We can’t wait to share the beautiful photos from today, but until then, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you. 🤍

Thank you to all of our incredible dance families and everyone who supports dancers throughout their journey. For the early mornings, the late nights, the countless drives, the hours spent watching from the sidelines, the encouragement, the cheering, and for showing up in every way imaginable, thank you. 🫶🏻

Dance is so much more than what happens in the studio. It’s a journey made possible by an entire community of people who believe in these dancers and support them every step of the way.

We are so grateful for the families who make these experiences possible and for allowing us to be part of your dancers’ journeys. We can’t wait to share what we captured today! ✨📸

Two incredible programs. So many hours in the studio. And so much growth. 🤍

To our Senior Intensive dancers, thank you for showing up every single day ready to work, learn, listen, challenge yourselves and grow.

It has been so special watching you push outside of your comfort zones, take corrections with openness, support one another and continue to find more confidence in yourselves as dancers and artists.

You showed up with your whole selves and that is what makes these weeks so special.

I am so proud of the work you put in, the risks you took, the connections you made and the dancers you are continuing to become.
