Someplace Believing: The Musical is now offering a FREE show for those with limited income!


The only complaint received through this journey was people saying “I wish I could go, but I can’t afford it”. In times when people are struggling just to EAT, we can’t afford to go out and do something FUN! That negatively affects Mental Health, which is what we are all about. That is why, starting July 11th, 1:30pm, at the Woodlawn Public Library, we are going to show Someplace Believing: The Musical in their theatre! The high quality video will make you feel like you are actually there- LIVE, in person! Some of the cast and crew are also going to come and speak about how this show positively affecting their own Mental Health and also helped shed a new light on Mental Illness.



Reviews of the debut were exactly what I hoped "it changed the way I think" , "it inspired me", etc. The more the message is out there, the better. Mental Illness is The New Normal: Live, Laugh, Love, Succeed!

“Someplace Believing: The Musical” celebrates diversity and aims to keep reducing mental health stigma, showcasing the value of every individual in society. It is for everyone who has ever felt othered, underestimated, or unseen. It’s about community, humor, falling apart, and still daring to believe there’s something better.

With a backdrop of music that is reminiscent of 80’s Pop/Rock with Symphonic accents, it blends humor and serious themes, exploring the journey of a young woman with Schizophrenia as she navigates the real world after escaping a cult-like upbringing.

With the help of a quirky group of individuals from Someplace Believing, an employment and life skills agency for those with Mental Illness, she learns to embrace her unique identity and finds strength in her experiences

Huge congrats to Janice, who played Sally, for getting accepted into the Dal Acting Program! It was an honour to see her grow and gain confidence through our production.
