🧡 National Indigenous Peoples Day 🧡
Today, we honour and celebrate the rich cultures, traditions, languages, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples across Canada.
As a choir rooted in community, connection, and support, we recognize the importance of listening, learning, and reflecting on the histories and experiences of Indigenous Peoples. We are grateful for the opportunity to live, work, and sing in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People.
On this National Indigenous Peoples Day, we encourage our members, families, and friends to take time to celebrate Indigenous voices, stories, music, art, and culture, while continuing the journey of understanding and reconciliation.
