Open to 18+ members who are active or retired military members, spouses/partners, daughters/mothers. The Canadian Military Wives Choir originated in Ottawa in 2013, and has spread from coast to coast with chapters at nearly every Military base. The Halifax Chapter formed in September of 2017. Membership prerequisites are:
1. you are 18 years of age,
2. you are a serving or retired military member
or a spouse/partner of a serving or retired military member
3. you identifies as a female. There is no requirement for any musical experince our goal is to support each other with song, friendship and community! Our aim is to bring the community together through song and to promote the choir through local performances, supporting events on base and collaborating with other musicians. We are always accepting new members, rehearsals are Monday evenings 18:30-20:30 at Stadacona Chapel (message for details). Come a few minutes early for some social time before we sing!
