THIS 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
A year ago Joshua Caprice asked me if I was able and willing to make a full album for Simplistic Music Company...
At that time I wanted to answer "nope, I'm sorry, it's not in my power and skill-set yet to take on such a project". I had only released 2 to 3 tracks a year until then, so a minimum of 10 tracks for the album seemed like an impossible job.
After contemplating for a weekend and trying to find the courage to take on this project, I accepted the challenge.
Took lessons with Demuir, which I'm super thankfull for, because in a few hours of Zoom meetings and with a 4 months of guidance, Demuir had improved my productivity/efficiency in the studio and taught me so much interesting things to use in my productions. Without a doubt one of the main reasons I was able to finish this album the way I did, is for a huge part thanks to him.
I thought about engaging friends for this album and so it came to be that Jan D'haene (trumpet) , Renafoot (vocals/rappers) and MC Party Mouth (vocals) landed on the album for some collabs, of which I'm terribly proud.
A huge shout out should be addressed to my wife, Jina Cassity, her continuous support and encouraging words got me through the worst parts of this year. It hasn't been al fun and games while making the album, but she stood by me all the way and I'm so thankfull she was there.
Also a enourmours thank you note for the team at Simplistic Music Company (Melody, Trey, Cameron Kelly,.. ) for granting me the opportunity to release my work and being super awesome, down-to-earth people always ready to listen and help out.
So long story short :D
My first LP is on the way (October 2023) and I couldn't be more proud and excited about it !!
Thank you all so freaking much for all the talks, ideas, support, laughs, .... while I was making the album the past year, you guys are the real MVP's ! ✌✊
