I told myself when I graduated with my degree that I would take up a hobby (to keep my mind motivated and open to learning).

Obviously this piece references past feminine icons (Hedy Lamar, Earths Kitt, Betty Grabel, Norma Jeane) as well as references to environment and some of my favourite ocean species; However,
sometimes I just need to create
things for the sake of maintaining my own sanity, nothing always has a story for me because my life is enough of a headache to understand especially when I have to explain it.
I chose these colours because I wanted to see them, I chose these figures because I wanted to know about them, I chose the ocean species because I love them and the environment…well I’m worried about it.
I’m honestly fatigued with extracting meaning from my own art that assists me with my self regulation…
My art is sometimes just for me and I share it in hopes that you’ll derive your own interpretations from it and appreciation for it.
