Northern Brass Choir

Northern Brass Choir The Northern Brass Choir is made up of people who have a habit of playing brass instruments. This group in various forms has been getting together for decades.

We get together every week to keep up our chops and sometimes we'll do public performances. The type of music we play almost always varies from renaissance music to pop and jazz standards. If you wish to join us, send us a message. If you are interested in having our brass band play at your event (big or small), let us know. We've done everything from radio fundraisers to guest performers with the Sudbury Symphony Orchestra.

Thank you for coming to see us on such a beautiful day last Sunday. We love to share the beauty and majesty of the brass ensemble with Sudbury and we'll be doing it again next year so stay tuned. Special thanks to William Rowson for being our illustrious music director this past season. If there are any closet brass players out there that would like to try out for our ensemble, please send us a message.

The Northern Brass Choir is incredibly proud of our friend Victor Hu. Victor (second person from the left) played with us last year, before moving to Toronto and being accepted into the Toronto Symphony Youth Orchestra! Last month they joined the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, onstage, at Roy Thompson Hall to perform Sibelius’ legendary Finlandia. One of our members was lucky enough to be in the audience and said horns were incredible! Way to go, Victor!
