I met Lanny McDonald at the Peace Region Energy Show about 10 years ago and asked him if he would sign my drawing if I brought it the next day...sure enough, he did!! When I showed it to him he said "I know where you got that image", "from a HHOF calendar". Lol yes, that's the reference photo I used!! He has "paws" like a grizzly bear...no wonder he had such a wicked wrist shot!!

Hello to my family and friends, and welcome to "Kev's Art Page"!!! It is a bit of a trip down memory lane. Some of the pieces are recent while others are 30 years old or more. Some works are inspired by photos that Tammy or I took while raising our family, traveling and some sports themed drawings and paintings I created of my favourite athletes.

Years ago, while living in Thorold, we had a backyard pool which the kids (and the neighbour's kids) loved! I believe Tammy snapped this photo of Nikol and Steven after their swim. Nikol is helping get Steven to smile 😃. I sketched this with prismacolour pencil ✏️ crayons 🖍 😀.
