We have arrived on the final day of the Mactaquac Craft Festival 2026! Our vendors have been incredible, the park staff has been top tier, and our festival goers brining joy in an abundance. Even with the weather - there were a whole lot of smiles and of course GREAT craft.

'Twas the night before Mactaquac, and all through the site,
Not a wheel was still turning, the pottery packed tight.
The crafters-cars were loaded and stacked with care,
In hopes that the crowds would soon find their way there.

Mactaquac Craft Festival 2026 is happening tomorrow!!!!!
We are so excited to welcome you to the York Centennial site in Mactaquac Provincial Park. There are some incredibly talented people who have poured their blood, sweat, and tears into one of a kind pieces - ready to be held and taken to a new home. There's food, b**r, live craft demonstrations, something for everyone, bring a friend and enjoy the wonder of craft.

Festival Hours:
Friday, Sept. 4 | 4 PM – 8 PM
Saturday, Sept. 5 | 10 AM – 5 PM
Sunday, Sept. 6 | 10 AM – 5 PM
🎟 Admission: $5 at the gate | Kids 12 & under FREE

We are so extremely proud and excited to celebrate Gordon this weekend at Mactaquac Craft Festival 2026! He has won the 2026 Emerging Craftsperson of the Year Award, sponsored by Lexus, so make sure to stop by his booth all weekend long to congratulate him!

✨ 3 Days till Mactaquac Craft Festival 2026 ✨

We are 3 days out, at Craft NB we have started going up to Mactaquac to start the set up of this festival. The crew and staff at Mactaquac have been extremely accommodating and helpful all summer long, its impossible to run a festival without the help of an incredible host.

Our big task is measuring out each booth spot to fit in over 75 Vendors + Food Trucks + Live Demonstrations. The vendor list is a lot bigger than last year and we are excited about the layout.
This vendor village has held a lot of historic work. We have Topsail Canvas coming back this year who is a 2nd generation maker at MCF. Another cool member of both the original and revival of this festival is Madeleine Dewolfe, pictured in the 1992 photo of the festival program, and she's back to help continue the legacy at this year's festival!

Coming to the Mactaquac Craft Festival this weekend at the York Centennial site? If you have old photos or fond memories from past years, please stop by the front gates and share them with the Craft NB staff! We love hearing the history of this festival from our community. See you this weekend! ✨

Cut, Paste, and Create at the Mactaquac Craft Festival 2026 ! ✂️

Join Open Your Art for a collaborative collage project for all levels, focused on upcycling materials. Make a bookmark to take home or contribute to our community backdrop project 🌱

Donate: They are also asking for collage material donations. Bring your old magazines, books, and paper scraps, and let's make art together.

About Open Your Art: Open Your Art offers classes and workshops that nurture skills in drawing, pottery, sculpture, mixed media, and painting. "We focus on finding safe entry points for equity-deserving groups in the community, because we believe cultivating the creative right brain is vital to life, and access to third space arts community as a fundamental right."
