In the sparkling night sky, a soft halo surrounds the tree, inviting us to pause and hold our deepest wishes through the stillness of winter ❄️ . Meet the “Three Wise Asses,” watercolour on paper. Another new holiday greeting card

One of my intentions as an artist is to create work that cause us to feel deeply. This includes art that spontaneously makes us smile, laugh out loud and sometimes snort! My greeting cards range from heartfelt to humorous, and I love watching customers react when they see them. These three wise asses will be available to purchase as a greeting card or print.

I realize I am at risk of being heckled for posting Christmas photos before the end of September 😆however, I am trying to stay ahead of the holiday season. I asked my 11 year-old granddaughter if she would help me with the title for this new watercolour greeting card. She said she loved it because it looked like the little girl and the snowman were friends. So in her honour and with the prerogative of an artist Grandma, this card is titled”Charleigh’s Christmas Friend” ❤️ This card will be available during the Christmas markets and Route 22 Artist Collective Gallery

Meet “Flossie & Fringe” 😁. This bodacious Bovine was created on a 12 x 12 in birch panel in acrylic and framed in walnut stained wood frame. Her beautiful locks are both eye catching and a perfect veil for flirting 😂. She is headed to the silent auction Davisburg Community Association famous Turkey Dinner on October 4. Get your tickets on Eventbrite soon as they are selling fast! Turn your sound for the hilarious music to celebrate Flossie 🌟

On the easel today…well, l should say it’s one of a couple on the go right now 😊 I am working on both watercolour and acrylic paintings which makes for a messy studio! This large watercolour has a base layer and some early texture done with salt. I will continue with more layers to create a crisp autumn painting! I love fall colours and am excited to see this one come to life 🍂🍁Enjoy the day!
