This Thanksgiving, we’re feeling especially grateful for our families, our wonderful community, and everyone who continues to come out, share in the magic of live theatre, and make The Grove such a special place.

Thank you for being part of our story, for supporting the arts, and for filling our little corner of the Kawarthas with so much joy, laughter, and connection.

Today, we pause to listen, reflect and remember.

The Grove Theatre respectfully acknowledges that we gather and create on the treaty and traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig Anishnaabeg.

Storytelling has always been a powerful way of carrying knowledge, history, culture and memory from one generation to the next. As a theatre and a gathering place, we recognize the responsibility that comes with sharing stories — and the importance of making space for the stories and voices that have too often been silenced.

Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour Indigenous peoples, acknowledge the devastating legacy of residential schools, and recognize the enduring strength of Indigenous communities, cultures and traditions.

May we continue to listen, learn and remember.

From the laugh-out-loud spectacle of Spamalot, to the straight-up patriotic rock of A Tribute to Canadian Music Legends, the heart and hilarity of Same Time, Next Year, and the silky-smooth grooves of 70’s Dance Party, we kept the Kawarthas and beyond entertained all summer long!

But The Grove Theatre is never done!

We’re already behind the scenes, working on an even bigger, better and more dynamic 2027 season — and trust us, you’re not going to want to miss what’s coming.

🎭 THAT’S A WRAP ON AN INCREDIBLE SEASON — BUT THE NEXT ACT IS ALREADY BEGINNING.

From the first laugh to the final applause, thank you for being part of our 2026 season. ❤️

What you may not know is that ticket sales cover only about 50% of the cost of bringing our productions to life. The rest depends on the generosity of people who believe in the importance of live performance.

Every dollar goes directly toward supporting the artists, technicians and creative teams who make it all happen.

We’re wrapping up an incredible summer at The Grove Theatre with the closing week of Spamalot — the biggest musical ever staged in Kawartha Lakes! ⚔️😂🎶

All summer long, young performers have been building confidence, skills and friendships while discovering the artistry, creativity and courage it takes to step onto a stage. ✨
