It’s time to organize our float for this year’s parade! We are looking for dancers from the 2025-26 season (who are in Grade One or older) to dance with us down the streets of Estevan!

Wear your favourite dance costume, jam out to some recital tunes, and spend an afternoon with the ERDC family one more time before summer. It’s always a great experience!

💜 Season 10 Complete 💜

Just like that, our tenth season of dance has come to an end. What an amazing weekend to wrap up an amazing year! Thank you to all who played a part in making this weekend a massive success: the dancers, their parents and families, our instructors and assistants, our Recital tech team, my family, and all of our volunteers!

To our Alumni who returned to the stage this weekend, thank you all so much for being a part of this Finale. I cannot emphasize how much dancing with you again meant to me. Getting to reconnect with you, and perform alongside you, brought back so many wonderful memories. I truly love all of you so much.

Looking closer, behind the makeup, costumes, and energy on stage, I see the hard work, sweat, and tears it took for the dancers to get to the stage. The countless hours learning, practicing, supporting each other, and striving to be the best versions of themselves. The confidence, friendships, and memories gained will stay with these kids forever. That is why I do what I do. For the special moments backstage, watching the smallest dancers perform for the very first time, or the graduates taking the stage for their final routine. For the bonds between the dancers, and the trust built within each group.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our studio, my family, and my dream through the past ten years. The love I have felt this weekend is a feeling that I will never forget, and I feel so lucky to have such an amazing dance family by my side. Thank you for being my home, my people, and my “why”.

We will be taking a few days to rest and reorganize, before tying up any loose ends for the season! I have collected quite a few lost and found items from the weekend, which I will post on Remind later in the week.

Stay tuned for exciting announcements for Season 11 in the coming weeks. There have been some exciting ideas brewing behind the scenes, and we can’t wait to get back at it! But that is all for now, it’s time for a much needed nap 😴

💜 Recital Day 2 💜

Our final show of the season will take place this afternoon! Our dancers put on two fantastic shows yesterday, and I cannot wait to put on this show for one last time.

🪩 Showtime today is 1pm. Our recital will take place at Estevan Comprehensive School. Doors will open for the audience to find seats one hour before showtime. Limited tickets will be available for the show at the door. $10 each, cash only.

🌷Individually wrapped flowers will be available for purchase at the back of the cafeteria. $5 or $10 each, cash only. Bottled water will also be available for $3 each.

♿️ Door 4 (at the back of the school) will be available for those who need an accessible entrance ONLY.

🍪 At the end of the show, each dancer will be welcome to take home a Smile Cookie, courtesy of Smiles Start Small! Please note that the cookies will not be available until the show is complete, to make sure all of the dancer’s costumes stay clean for the performance. Thank you to everyone who sponsored our studio to receive Smile cookies!

💜 Recital Weekend 💜

Happy Recital Day 1! We had a fantastic dress rehearsal last night, and I can’t wait to share our show with you this weekend!

🪩 Showtimes for today are 1pm and 7pm. Our recital will take place at Estevan Comprehensive School. Doors will open for the audience to find seats one hour before showtime. Limited tickets will be available for the 7pm show at the door tonight. $10 each, cash only.

🎓 Graduating Class of 2026 🎓

As we head into our Recital weekend, I wanted to take a moment to celebrate these six wonderful young women. As I reflect on my years spent with them, I can’t help but get emotional. Getting to watch them grow and learn, not just as dancers but as people, has been an absolute honour. I am so incredibly proud of each of you, and I can’t wait to celebrate you and watch you light up the stage this weekend. I’ll save the rest for the end of the Sunday show 😉🥹

💜 Finale Day 2 💜

What a day! Our 2026 Finale is now complete. Great work, dancers! Thank you so much to all of the dancers for being a part of this routine, which is all about celebrating ERDC’s 10th Birthday!

Special shoutout to the parents, instructors, and older dancers who jumped in to help organize our dancers backstage, to run our sound and lights, or to film our routine!

Extra special shoutout to the ERDC Alumni who joined us to be a part of this special finale. I had the absolute best time dancing with all of you again, and I can’t wait to share the stage with you once more at this year’s Recital. Thank you for coming to celebrate our studio’s history and for continuing to support me ❤️

Now we begin our full week of regularly scheduled classes ON STAGE!! 🤩

💜 Finale Day 1 💜

What a fantastic first day of learning our 2026 Finale Routine! Shoutout to all of our dancers for working hard and learning their parts! We can’t wait to show off this routine at the Recital. Now on to Day #2 with the rest of our Finale crew tomorrow!

Starting NOW, every dance class or event will be taking place at Estevan Comprehensive School! Do NOT go to the Studio, no one will be there 😉

Finale participants: please double check all of your call times for tomorrow to make sure you are at the comp every time you need to be there! Thanks!

❤️ DeFeet Dance Challenge - Days 3 & 4 ❤️

What a way to wrap up our competition season! Day 3 featured our three large groups, who were fantastic on that stage!! I also got to reconnect with my good friend Zoey, and cheer her on during her tap dance! Isla finished our season off strong with her lyrical solo on the morning of Day 4.

Iron (Contemporary Group) - Platinum 🤍, 2nd Place, and a Choreography Award for Miss Brooke!
