Death Doulas in my community:
You’re warmly invited to our Death Doula Alumni BBQ - Sept 24.
While this event began as an alumni reunion of my Life and Death Academy’s Death Doula Training, I’m opening a few spots for doulas trained through other schools to join us. This will remain an intimate gathering, so if you know you want to be there, please reserve your ticket asap. Opportunities like this are rare — there are so few chances for death doulas to gather in person.
Whether you're deep in practice, reconnecting with this calling, or using the wisdom to empower your everyday life, we’d love to see you there.
We’ll be gathering in Moffatt, Ontario, nestled in a beautiful barn — and, weather permitting, we’ll spend much of our evening outdoors around a fire, sharing food, stories, and laughter under the fall sky.

This isn’t just a social event. It’s a space to reconnect with familiar faces and meet doulas from other trainings—those who, like you, lean into uncomfortable spaces, hold vigil, and honour endings. There’s something uniquely powerful about being in community with people who speak your language.
