This mornings adventure began with a quiet walk by the water and turned into a Bald Eagle rescue.
As our walk began a lady pulled up with camera in hand. Of course I was curious about what was going on so following her gaze, we see a Bald Eagle struggling in the water to get to shore. At first we figured it caught something big but as it lifted itself onto a rock we saw it was injured.
One of the other bystanders quickly made a call to Hope For Wildlife to report the injured bird. Within minutes a Wildlife Rescuer showed up to catch the bird and transport it to the vet for an assessment and treatment.

You will see that two of his talons are broken and rotten.
