Linked to the heart chakra green Agate promotes self love, compassion and confidence... which is exactly what I was placing a lot of focus on at the time of painting this piece.

I remember painting Agate in a lot of silence. No movie... rarely any music. Looking back, I think my mind was just screaming too loudly in both equally good and bad ways - it felt like music or a movie in the background would have disrupted the energy i was needing to transmute.

There's a movie from 1968 called Candy - The psychedelic vibes, cinematography, and almost disjointed, but intentional, story line gives such an air of freedom and intrigue that just pulls you in. While it was portrayed... shall we say... offensively, though, in the way of its time, watched and felt closely enough, it is still a marker of the beginning in the evolution of female sexuality... albeit in a very 1968 ignorant way.

But I was watching it while painting this piece, creating the 3D flower, and the beauty that hit me was this parallel of, my first art piece depicting sapphic intimacy as a "late in life" le***an, and how that act and this piece are so definitive to my evolution - that to some outside perspectives this piece could be seen as vulgar or offensive- but looked at and felt closely enough, it's a marker of female sexuality/ evolution. It's delicate, innocent, raw, emotional, beautifully chaotic...

Honey is an extremely unique and intricate piece that, just like all my other pieces, is one that I will never again replicate❤️💛💚💜

This piece is particularly special to me as it is a work meant to bring about a cleansing, intuitive, abundant, and healing energy. I'm creating Honey with the intention of it being an energy in your home to allow for recharging when you're feeling burnt out and overwhelmed.
