“I can fix her” — says my husband, every time we drag home another absolutely questionable free furniture set 😂

And somehow… this is how it turned out 🤎🖤

What started as a rough Marketplace rescue is now giving ✨high-end boutique furniture✨ and honestly we’re obsessed.

We’ve been staring at this piece half-finished for days waiting on the k***s and legs to arrive like impatient kids on Christmas morning 😅

But WOW.
The final look was worth every second.

The matching tall dresser is up next and she’s about to have her own main character moment soon 👀🔥

Not every piece starts out as a showstopper… some start out as the “are you sure about this one?” 👀

But here’s the thing — if it’s solid wood and has good bones, the potential is always there. This one might not have been love at first sight, but give it a little vision and suddenly it’s a whole different story. ✨

Finally gave this space the attention it deserved—and she delivered ✨

I took the time to refinish the couch to match the chairs, and it completely pulled everything together. Safe to say… the teal era has officially been retired (no tears shed 😂).

Now it feels warm, calm, and so much more “us.” The textures, the wood tones, the light—every corner just hits different.

Currently: finding any excuse to sit here with a coffee and admire it like it’s a showroom ☕️

Before ➡️ After… and what a glow-up 😍

These solid oak nightstands started off with a more traditional, honey oak finish (swipe to see where we began 👀). Great bones, but definitely ready for a fresh new chapter.

We gave them a full refresh with a deep, moody charcoal body, refinished the tops to highlight that beautiful natural grain, and added updated hardware to tie it all together ✨

Now they’ve gone from “grandma’s spare room” to “where did you get those?!” real quick.
