The last week of our camping trip was amazing! Having seen so many places in BC now, I can honestly say that we live in the best place on earth!

Some highlights include:

*Muncho Lake...we need to go back! So many massive alluvial fans to hike up to explore the valleys and canyons where they came from;
*Summit Lake at Stone Mountain where we had a multi hour thunderstorm with wind and rain accompanied by a hiding puppy!
*Moberly Lake known for its sunsets and boy, we got a good one!
*Crooked River just an hour north of Prince George

I am excited about all of the photos I collected of the many beautiful places we got to experience! Hopefully I will be able to capture the beauty and feeling in future paintings!

Some highlights from week two of our trip include:

Sand dunes near Carcross...on the drive there we received a complimentary cracked windshield...a Yukon special!

Carcross
Miles Canyon, Whitehorse
Haines Junction and Kluane

Kita absolutely loved running around the dunes! Sand + Kita = Instant zoomies!

We experienced some cold, wet weather... nothing an extra blanket can't fix!

We were fortunate enough to be able to visit with Roland's cousin and his lovely wife and experience their amazing hospitality! Whitehorse is a very special place!

One bathroom done. The rest will have to wait. Summer adventure is on the horizon! Glad I was able to get these sliders second hand! What a big difference they make on a small budget!
