Application’s Are Open For The 2026 Delta Studio Stomp.

Join us for this artist run annual studio tour of the communities of Ladner, Tsawwassen and North Delta.

It is a fantastic way to meet the art lovers in your area and share your passion for your work with them. In addition for the opportunity to sell your work the Stomp is a great way to connect in person with possible new collectors, build your mailing list, share your process and talk about your art with an engaged & supportive audience.

For more information and to apply visit our website. Link in bio.

Want to participate but you’re not 100% sure how to set it up in your home studio? Swipe to take a look at how some of our artists have welcomed attendees into their spaces. Anything really goes from a dedicated studio space, to a spare room or the kitchen table. Open up your creative space and/or section off your foyer for a more intimate viewing, give visitors a tour of your home to see your work displayed in a real world setting or set up in your garden space as an out door gallery. You can even do demos or have pieces in various stages of completion to walk visitors through your process to add to the experience.

As the 2026 Stomp drawn closer we thought it would be fun to catch up with some of our Stomp artists from the last couple of years to share with you what they have been up to creatively since their last Stomp.

Next up is Carol Adams:

“Since the last Art Stomp, I have continued to explore landscape painting inspired by the beauty of our local surroundings. While acrylic remains my primary medium, I have recently begun expanding my practice to include oil painting. Nature continues to be my most enduring source of inspiration.”

“Since last year’s studio stomp, I’ve been doing a lot of markets with a nice downtime through the beginning of this year. For the next few months we are going to be catching up with some of our Stomp artists from the last couple of years to share with you what they have been up to creatively since their last Stomp.

First up is Leanne Trepke:

“My paintings over the past couple of years have evolved to become more realistic as I have pushed myself to capture the full experience of brief moments in time into painted masterpieces. My wood crafts have also become more detailed and complex as I push myself to grow in my artistic capabilities. After taking a break from Studio Stomp in 2025, I am excited to be back this year!”

Last but certainly not least for introducing the 2026 Stomp team is Vera Buxton. Vera is a textile artist and photographer. You can find out more about Vera at

What are your Stomp responsibilities?

I am president of Watershed Artworks Society, an organization which showcases artists’ work in our Gallery and Gift Shop as well as three large showcases located in the North Delta Recreation Centre. We offer art classes, Feature Artist displays, and host Whole Lot of Art, and Deck the Halls Christmas Market. Watershed has also enjoyed designing a massive illuminated artistic display for many years at the Luminary Festival at Sunstone Park in North Delta.

Another popular community event Watershed artists enjoy is Studio Stomp, held the third weekend in September. Participating artists set up their displays in the ND Rec Centre lobby in front of the Gallery Shop or open their home studios to the public. I am involved in assisting with promoting this incredible cultural event.

What is your favourite thing about participating as an artist in the Stomp?

I enjoy seeing friends, family and neighbours as well as having the opportunity to explain the process of creating the sculptured pleated textile artwork of my handmade scarves. Studio Stomp offers an opportunity for families to experience and meet the talented artists in our community. It is always so much fun to watch children enjoying the event, asking questions and participating by making some artwork.
