Looking for something fun to do with the family this Easter weekend?
Sound Habitat, your local Art Collective, is hosting an afternoon Bicycle Decorating Contest, Parade, and BBQ in Cumberland this Saturday!
This by-donation FUNdraiser is open to all ages and will take place at the Masonic Hall starting at 4 PM.
Bring your bike pre-decorated, or join us in the back parking lot for a bike-decorating art jam! Bring your own supplies or use ours. You can also check out our art sale, bake sale, and the Resonant Realms art installation inside the hall.
The bicycle parade will leave from the parking lot around 6 PM, riding down Dunsmuir Ave to the BMX Park and back to the hall (about 2 km) see route below.
The Best Decorated Bike contest will happen just before the parade, with an awesome swag bag donated by Dodge City Cycles—worth $250!
Enjoy live music from the incredibly talented Fanfare, followed by a couple of hours of community open mic.
Affordable BBQ eats will be available to feed your family before or after the parade, from 4–7 PM.
This afternoon event is by donation and open to all ages. Come back in the evening from 8 PM to 2 AM for a ticketed and licensed 19+ dance party!
Please note: We will not be shutting down the street for the parade, so please stay in the bike lane and watch for vehicles.
