The official highlight video from the fifth annual BC Dumpling Festival is here! 🥟❤️

What an incredible celebration! This year’s festival was our biggest one yet, and watching this video brings back the energy, excitement and joy we felt as thousands of people came together at Town Centre Park.

Five years ago, the BC Dumpling Festival began with a simple vision: to bring people from all backgrounds together through food, culture and community. Since then, it has grown into a much-loved celebration where families, friends and neighbours can gather, experience cultures from around the world and, of course, enjoy plenty of delicious dumplings.

We are beyond grateful to everyone who helped make this unforgettable day possible. Thank you to our dedicated committee members and team leads who spent months planning every detail, and to the hundreds of volunteers who generously gave their time and welcomed our guests with such enthusiasm.

Thank you to our incredible food and community vendors for sharing your flavours, products and traditions with us. Thank you to the Coco Band and all our talented performers for filling the stage with music, dance, culture and excitement throughout the day.

We are also deeply grateful to RBC, our Presenting Sponsor, BCLC, our Platinum Sponsor, and all our generous sponsors and community partners. Thank you to the City of Coquitlam for its support through the Signature Events Grant and to the Province of British Columbia for its support through the Community Gaming Grant. Your contributions help us keep this celebration free and accessible to our community.

Most of all, thank you to every person who came out and celebrated with us. You filled Town Centre Park with so much warmth, diversity and community spirit. Your support has allowed this festival to continue growing into something greater than we could have imagined.

Last night, we gathered for our committee wrap up dinner to celebrate months of planning, preparation and teamwork for the BC Dumpling Festival.

Most of our committee members are volunteers, and we are incredibly grateful for the time, energy and dedication they contributed to making this year’s festival such a success. We could not have done it without this amazing group!

A HUGE shoutout to the RBC team for being our 2026 Presenting Sponsor 💙

This has been an especially challenging year for festivals and events, which makes RBC’s continued support mean even more to us. Their partnership played a huge role in making it possible for us to bring the 5th Annual BC Dumpling Festival to life.

And they didn’t stop there. RBC also sponsored our water stations, created a Chill Zone for festival-goers, and had an amazing team come out to volunteer with us throughout the day.

We’re always grateful to have RBC in our corner, but this year especially, we can’t thank them enough for showing up for our festival and our community in so many ways 🥟💙
