Deeply grateful! This one is thanks to you! 🏆

I won the People’s Choice Award at Arts on the Credit 15th Annual Fine Arts Show, a juried exhibition held this year at the historic Small Arms Inspection Building in Mississauga!

After sharing on social media and in my newsletter asking for your vote, so many of you voted online and rallied support for my artwork. I’m incredibly thankful for that kind of community backing!

Pictured here with the award while newly taking it in. That’s a big smile. :)

I’m excited to be exhibiting at the 2026 Fine Arts Show with Arts on the Credit, taking place this weekend in Mississauga at the Small Arms Inspection Building.

📍 1352 Lakeshore Road East, Mississauga
📅 May 29–31, 2026
🕙 Saturday + Sunday: 10 am – 4 pm
🎉 VIP opening night May 29 for the 15th anniversary celebration

Whether you’re local or travelling in, this is a full weekend of artwork from artists all across Ontario, under one roof at the historic Small Arms Inspection Building in Mississauga.

Walk the space, meet the artists, and see the work up close. Paintings, sculpture, and everything in between fills the building, and it has the best energy where you’re not just looking at art, you’re talking directly to the people who made it.

It’s one of the best chances to connect and collect work straight from the source, which are always my favourite shows!

It opens with a VIP night Friday and runs through Saturday and Sunday, with awards including People’s Choice announced over the weekend.

Come by to see this cool show for yourself this weekend. I will have tons of original paintings on display/ for sale!

Please VOTE for my painting!

I’m reaching out to ask for your support to win People’s Choice Award at the Arts on the Credit Show!

My original painting, “Lift Off” (20 x 24, framed, CAD $1,800), is featured in the online gallery ahead of the in-person show this weekend in Toronto. It’s a cinematic, high-energy piece depicting a perilous stunt jump inspired by the golden era of daredevils. The painting channels that moment of thrill and exhilaration, a reminder that we are all chasing the rush in our own lives.

If you’re able to take a moment, it genuinely makes a difference.

How to vote:

1.Visit the Arts on the Credit virtual gallery (Link in Bio!)
2.Find my painting "Lift Off"
3.Click the ❤️ to vote!

Voting closes May 28 at 6:00 PM.

The People’s Choice Award will be announced at the Opening Gala on May 29, celebrating 15 years of Arts on the Credit. Every vote supports the artists in the show and helps highlight the work being shared.

Thank you for taking the time to look and support my work.

The realness: Some shows deliver high-intensity sales. Others are about visibility, conversations, and showing up anyway.

Artfest Pickering didn’t go the way I expected, or the way I heard it normally does from other vendors. Saturday we didn’t set up due to the forecast, with the event later cancelled partway through the day. Sunday we set up and worked through the day, coffee in hand.

The conversations were easily the most unpredictable part of the weekend. I was standing in front of my artwork, ready to talk about paintings, process, and meaning, and instead kept getting the most unexpected interactions. Some were genuinely thoughtful, some strange, and in between it all there were a few real moments of connection that made the whole thing worthwhile.

Had one beautifully decisive collector stop, circle back, and take a print of "Dial Tone" home, which honestly felt refreshing in a day that was otherwise full of wandering and browsing energy.

The weather took its toll on everything. The booth, the grids, and all the setup needed a full wash-down afterward just to get everything back to normal. That part of outdoor shows never really gets talked about, but it is very real.

Despite the weather, it was still a meaningful one in terms of visibility, connection, and understanding what conditions actually support my work best.

Very grateful for my fiancé and his help with setup, and grateful for the people who stopped, the conversations that happened, and the reminder that not every show is measured the same way.

Looking ahead to this weekend’s indoor show! ;)

PRINTS SOLD OUT

Winner of the Jolyn Grieve Memorial Award for Creative Excellence 2023

Twice showcased, this 40 x 30-inch acrylic painting, Chameleon, showcases an intriguing central figure, a woman who hides her face behind a mirror.

This painting explores the power of intentional concealment. The mirror is used like a shield. This act of withholding shapes our perception and serves as a means of self-preservation, drawing us in while keeping her inner world protected.

2026 Summer Show Schedule 📍

Check out the pin waaaayyy at the bottom. That one will be a fun drive!

I don’t work from a fixed studio gallery or storefront model.

My practice is a travelling gallery, and online sales! Everything I show is packed into a trailer with my full booth setup: framed originals, framed art prints, display grids, and a vendor tent. I travel across Southern Ontario with my fiancé setting up temporary exhibitions at fancy art festivals and fairs. *Which I pay to attend! :)

These shows are where my artwork does best. People can connect directly in person. They’re where most of my collector relationships and original sales happen.

I rely on these events because they allow me to build directly with my audience, grow visibility, and expand into different communities without needing a permanent space.

This year I’m expanding further into the GTA and the southern corridor of Ontario, focusing on higher-traffic festivals to reach new collectors, galleries, and returning supporters.

FROM THE VAULT — 2021 ORIGINAL

This large-scale work was created in 2021 on a repurposed estate-sale canvas and represents an early exploration of my white-line floral studies developed during my time at Haliburton School of Art and Design in 2018.

It is housed in its original antique frame, refinished in matte black, and remains one of the few large archival works from this period.

54” × 31”
Acrylic on canvas
One-of-one original

Originally: $800 CAD
Collector release: $375 CAD

Available for a limited time.
DM to inquire or purchase.

Yesterday, I attended the opening reception for Renewal 2026, Melt Studio and Gallery’s annual spring juried exhibition, as one of the participating artists, with my fiance Keath.

It’s always special to see your work installed in a gallery setting, but this show is particularly lively. Held at Melt Studio & Gallery in Base 31 near Picton, the exhibition spans multiple rooms in the space. Originally a training base during the Second World War, Base 31 is being continously transformed into a thriving creative hub for artists and local businesses.

My fiancé and I spent a good bit exploring the exhibition together, talking about our favourite standout pieces along the way. There's an amazing mix of artworks: painting, fibre art, sculpture, jewellery, and more. Each artwork speaking to the theme of spring and renewal.

My painting “Vixen” was selected for the show, making this my first group exhibition following my recent solo show. Seeing it up with other butterfly-themed works was really cool and cohesive.

Grateful to the jurors and to Susan Wallis for the opportunity to be included in such a considered exhibition.
