One of the questions I get asked most often is, "Have you stayed there yourself?" or "Where would you recommend we stay?"

When it comes to Revelstoke, I can confidently recommend the Coast Hillcrest Hotel because I've personally stayed there on two different occasions.

Opened in 1999, this mountain retreat offers stunning views of the surrounding Monashee and Selkirk Mountains. While the forest fire haze has softened the views a little during this visit, the scenery is still impressive and reminds you just how beautiful British Columbia is.

What I love about the Coast Hillcrest is its peaceful mountain setting, comfortable accommodations, and easy access to everything Revelstoke has to offer. Whether you're visiting for hiking, skiing, sightseeing, or simply a relaxing getaway, it's a great place to call home while exploring the area.

As a travel advisor, I believe there's tremendous value in experiencing destinations and accommodations firsthand. It helps me provide better recommendations and honest insights to my clients.

Nice to Paris… but make it first class
Honestly, if you’re travelling from the French Riviera up to Paris, THIS is the way to do it.
I hopped on the TGV INOUI in first class, and it was such an easy, comfortable ride… no airport chaos, no security lines, just sit back and enjoy the journey.
Big comfy seats (with lots of legroom… yes please)
Chill, quiet vibe
Gorgeous views as you roll through the French countryside
Wi-Fi + power so you can scroll, work… or just relax
It’s one of those travel days that actually feels like part of the vacation, not just getting from A to B.
If you’re planning France,definitely consider the train, and treat yourself to first class if you can… totally worth it!
