Our Fall session of swimming lessons starts next week! We’ve just added more classes to our schedule, including several private lessons!

Our Fall session of swimming lessons opens for registration on Wednesday, August 5th at 8:00 AM. The Fall session begins mid-September and runs for 8 weeks. Classes are available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. We have lessons for ages 4 months - adult! 🏊

Please Note: Our facility will be closed starting Monday, Augsut 31st until September 8th due to our Annual Maintenance Shutdown. We will re-open on Tuesday September 8th at 4pm for our swimming lessons.

We will also have a temporary Control and Information desk open during the Maintenance Shutdown as we renovate our front desk area. It will be open from 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (except for Monday, September 7th due to Labour Day) for any registrations or questions you may have. Interested in improving your swimming abilities AND learning about first aid/rescue skills? Join one of our Leadership courses! We are offering the Lifesaving Society’s Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion, and Bronze Cross starting Sunday, September 13th! Have you taken our Bronze Courses and are looking for the next challenge? Join our National Lifeguard (NLS) course starting Saturday, September 12th.

Bronze Star is a great way to introduce participants into the world of Lifesaving Society Leadership courses. There is no age requirement for this course, but it is recommended that participants have completed the Swim Patrol Levels (Rookie, Ranger and Star Patrol).

Our Bronze Medallion and Cross courses are the first steps toward becoming a swimming instructor or lifeguard. You only need to be 13 years* old to join!

*Participants must be 13 years old by the end of the course. Completion of Bronze Medallion is required in order to enroll in Bronze Cross.

National Lifeguard (NLS) training develops a sound understanding of lifeguarding principles, good judgment, and a mature and responsible attitude towards the lifeguard’s role. Participants must be 15 years old by the end of the course. Completion of Bronze Cross is required in order to enroll in NLS.
