I’ll miss the first one, but you’ll find me at the Baddeck Market on all other dates this season.

Two weeks to go! We’re gearing up for another market season starting on June 20, as usual from 10am to 1pm on the parking lot of the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site. We have a fantastic line-up of local food producers and artisans – head over to baddeckmarket.ca to see the full list. Please note, not every vendor will attend every market. Keep an eye out for our vendor lists posted closer to each market date. Looking forward to seeing you on June 20!

An ode to hummingbirds, and aprons. And to Linus, who has been photographing the birds at our feeder for years. Great reference material, as it turns out.

Rolling Hills just travelled the length of the Cabot Trail on the back of a relay shirt, so it only feels right to give the tea towel it came from a proper moment.

It’s one of my older designs, and one I keep coming back to. I just love those bold forest green shapes – the same shapes I see from my windows, looking out to the highlands. I cut them before we even moved here, simply inspired by those views.

It’s also one of the most versatile tea towels in the collection. That green looks great with every other colour. So here’s to the green hills of the highlands!

Spent yesterday surrounded by whales – packing up new totes, and a big stack of cards and tea towels. Which made me think of how they are all based on one paper-cut. Created in 2024, it first became a greeting card, then a tea towel, and now a tote bag. Different material, different scale, different use, but the same pod of whales.
