Historically, competition has played an important part in developing this art form, encouraging creativity, originality, and it's advancement. This all-ages event presents a fun opportunity for dancers to compete in a unified dynamic as a team or crew, pushing the level at which they work together to showcase the skills of the whole crew rather than as an individual. s who will battle it out on the dance floor in a timed tournament style format, competing for the big win as the top crew in Western Canada! The event will include special guest judges and DJ whom are well respected within the global Hip Hop dance community and are masters of their craft. This international presence will expose our local Breaking community to the national and international community, entice out of town dancers to come to Calgary, and will urge crews to train hard and give Calgary BBoys and BGirls a platform to perform and compete at a high level.
