Thankyou to the patron who purchased this painting of Lake O'Hara from . This is a painting that I liked, but was sure no one else would . It is too subtle, there is not enough colour, and you cannot even recognize the iconic scene in the picture. This is a painting of a rainy day, when a mist hangs in the air, and everything is wet. You cannot see far, but what you can see sparkles in vibrant greens. You think you can see the distant mountains through the fog, but it is just your imagination. There is something of comfort in the closeness of a foggy day, and mysterious in what lingers beyond the clouds. Thanks for the encouragement to look more into the subtle aspect of things.
