Co-Founded by dancers Anastassiia Alexander and Judith Romero, Grado 108 is based on the philosophy that flamenco is a community artform. That is to say, first comes
a space where people can connect, and second comes an art that emerges from those connections (of course, we will develop the skills to do this with regular drop-in classes). Grado 108 will be a space for Calgarians to be immersed in the world of flamenco, including dance, guitar, singing and percussion. With offerings specifically designed for adults new to the art, we look forward to introducing more Calgarian’s to this accessible and transporting art. For those interested in kick-starting their flamenco journey before we open our location, feel free to join current classes offered by Anastassiia Alexander at a temporary location in the NE.
