The first line dance meeting/practice for the Canada Day Parade is happening on May 27 at 7 PM!

Are you ready for some line dancing fun this summer? 🤠🇨🇦

We are looking for dancers who would like to join us in:

✨ The Canada Day Parade in St. Andrews (July) & line dance demo in the Market.

✨ The International Homecoming Festival Parade in St. Stephen (August)

We’ll have about 4 practices before parade time, so no worries if you’ve never done this before — just come ready to have fun, dance, and show your community spirit! 🎉

Thank you so much everyone for the wonderful gifts, the kind words over the past month, cards, gift certificates, baking, flowers, AND even a mid-class SERENADE! Wow!! 🤩 I’ve received so much love from dance students over the past few weeks and my heart is so full. 🩷 The joy that dancing brings to people’s lives is why I continue to do this year after year. I’m so appreciative for the town of St Andrews Parks & Recreation for offering some of these great classes as well and giving me the opportunity to meet so many amazing students who have definitely become a part of my life and my friends ♥️ And thank you to Ron who came to so many classes to greet students and capture our dances on video!

The senior Line Dance class will be in the ball room today (not dining room) at the W.C. O’Neill Arena 😁

The last Senior line dance class with the town of St Andrew’s Parks & Recreation is this Friday at 11:15 am, W.C. O’Neill Arena.

I want to thank everyone who participated in classes this season - I’ve had a blast dancing with you all and can’t wait to see you again in the fall 🩷🫶🏻✨

Classes will start again in September!

Here we are at Seniors Line dance class (the town of St. Andrews Parks & Rec class) 🤩 We are line dancing to a fun, upbeat Latin-style song called Rhumbumbumba by DJTEXX

Thank you Jeanette Johnson for the beautiful hand painted t-shirt for line dancing 🤩🩷🫶🏻 I’ve had my eye on these t-shirts for awhile and absolutely love that I’ve got one now ♥️

I am absolutely blown away by how kind my line dancers are! Today I was gifted my first handmade belt ✨😁✨for line dancing. It’s absolutely beautiful. Thank you Louise from the Senior line dancing class. Can’t wait to dance with this belt!

Her husband custom makes leather belts in St. Andrews and I’ve already ordered one for my husband 🥰 (I’ll post a picture in the comments).

I used to work for the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies and I’ve been teaching this line dance to Boot Scootin’ Boogie since 2009. There are over 20 different versions of line dances to this song now but this version never gets old 🔥✨
