Since its inception in 2016, the YYC Music Awards (YYCMA) have been shining a spotlight on musicians from one of Canada’s most vibrant and eclectic music scenes. With a focus on celebrating both new and established artists that embrace Calgary and area as home; the YYCMA are dedicated to recognizing our local creative forces and their accomplishments. From classical, to hip hop and rap, pop, metal, jazz, folk and more - the Calgary music scene is rich, diverse, and contributes immensely to the cultural fabric that makes up our city.
