Registration for this years APA Winter Sale will be opening soon and you don't want to miss out!!

Remember, you have to be a current 2026/27 APA member to register for the market so if you haven't got your membership you can enroll now under the 'Memberships' section of our website.

Registration for this years sale will open July 25 at 10am. Don't delay, tables sell out fast!!

The deadline for submissions for the Stein Show is only one week away!!
Hope to see all your amazing talents in our Art Call this week as we know youve been working so hard on your Steins!
Don't forget this is a juried show and this year we have our wonderful Juror Mindy Andrews who will be choosing the winners of this years awards.

Only three weeks to get your submissions in for this year's Stein Show!
Boy how time flies, hopefully you've been planning your ideas and working on your Steins. We are looking forward to this years Show and competition which is being judged by none other than Calgary's own ceramic artist extraordinaire Mindy Andrews!!

🌟Juror Spotlight!! 🌟

If you haven't heard the call for submissions for this year's Stein Show is now open and we would like to introduce our honorary Juror;

🌟Mindy Andrews 🌟

A celebrated local ceramic artist teacher and studio tech, Mindy has been a well known part of the Calgary pottery scene for many years. You can often find her teaching workshops in one of Calgary's local clay studios. We are so lucky to have her expertise and creative eye judging our Stein Show competition this year!

Mindy:
"My ceramic work draws inspiration from Alberta's botanical beauty; from prairie wildflowers to alpine forests. Through sketching and photography I study the forms, textures and colors of native plants and incorporate them into my pottery. As a ceramic artist, instructor and technician I blend technical expertise with artistic expression to create functional and decorative peices that celebrate the natural world."

Just a month ago we had our Annual Spring Teapot Show and we wanted to share with you some shots of the amazing pots that were there.

This years winners: 🏆
"Pour Decisions" by Kelly Hofer
"Banana Slug" by Shannyn Dowset
"Gemstone Teapot " by Rose Serpico
"Witches Brew" by Terri Egar

The show was a great success, with creative interpretations of teapots by so many amazing, talented artists from all over. We look forward to seeing next year's applications!

Speaking of applications; the Stein Show is now open for submissions, please find the details on our website.

The call for submissions is officially open for this year's Stein Show!
Submit your Steins on our website and if you're not already, become a member for a discount on the fee! The call will close July 10 so dont delay getting to work if you haven't already started!
