Elevate. 🤍

11 years ago when I started this it was all about passion and personality. I was a bedroom DJ for 5 years and my budget was in the negatives, but I was on a mission to give it my best shot so I picked up some used speakers from L&M and got out there.

After some success the focus became the art of DJing itself and using my years of experience in service to read the room I was in. I upgraded my speakers for better sound, and word started to get out that this wasn't just a hobby, it was my profession.

Fast forward to today and I find myself focusing on the visual aspect a bit more. Over the last year I've purchased several new lights, a facade for a cleaner look, and many other tools to enhance and upgrade my entire system both in terms of quality and efficiency.

Finally after all these years it feels like my passion, skill, and presentation are coming together. I've not left one behind FOR the others, but instead carry each with me as I complement one WITH the others.

I love this game and can't wait to keep elevating. Not just for my clients, but because I love it and because that passion that started it all runs deep. ❤️

Our very first family photo. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

It's Thanksgiving Day here in Canada, and as I think about the many things I'm thankful for, there is only one true standout -- my plate of food in slide 3 😅. ➡️

It was frighin delicious. Thank you . 🙏🏼

But after that! ☝🏼-- my amazing, loving and caring family was right there..to hand me some pie. And I love pie. And I love them for that pie. So thank you. 😘

I'll be serious at some point.

The truth is I don't know how I got so lucky in this life. My sister and I didn't have the most normal childhood growing up, and things could have been very very different. But we made sure not to repeat the mistakes of the past, but instead learn from them. So that years later we could live the lives we've always wanted.

With 2 kids, my own one-man business and broader family responsibilities, I'm as exhausted as I ever have been. At the same time, though, I'm the most GRATEFUL I ever have been for these same reponsibilities.

The truth is one day we won't be busy, and when that day comes we will miss the chaos that life gifted us when we had it. So I'm thankful for the busyness. I'm thankful for the chaos. And yes, I'm thankful for my family over last night's dinner. 🙏🏼

That dinner was a close second though.. 💛

Welcome to the next chapter. 🥂

I've been thinking about some specific updates over the last year or so, and this was one of them. As soon as I made the order I knew I wouldn't regret it.

These white totems and moving heads sitting beside me are a noticeable upgrade that add elegance, professionalism and that overall wow factor to events. And in a space as cool as I couldn't be happier.

The white scrims allow me to place lighting inside and add even more to the presentation, with black scrims also being an option for that sexy, but subdued vibe. Take your pick.

The speakers on the outside by are something I've been using at events for some time now. Imported from Italy, the sound quality is absolutely pristine and looks phenomenal.

Of course not every event, venue or space allows for this setup, but for those who want that extra "oomph" both visually and audibly, I'd love to try and make this work for you.

More updates on the way, and I look forward to sharing them with you over the rest of the year and into 2024.
