A little update on our exciting new show in Oakville!

The first round of applications have now been juried and responses have been emailed. Thank you to everyone who took the time to apply and welcome to all of our makers so far. ๐Ÿ˜Š

We will continue to accept applications, but the remaining space is very limited, so please don't wait if you've been thinking about joining us. Many categories are now filled. Head to our website for the application: www.theartisanbazaar.ca

We recently received a vendor solicitation email at [email protected] that appeared very legitimate at first glance.

What immediately stood out to us was the fact that we are event organizers โ€” not vendors โ€” which suggests these emails may be being sent broadly and potentially targeting vendor communities and mailing lists once again.

We reached out to the actual organizers involved and verified that is was indeed a scam. They have since posted information about the situation on their page.

A few reminders for our vendor community:

โ€ข Always double check the sender email address
โ€ข Be cautious of unsolicited vendor invitations
โ€ข Verify payment instructions before sending deposits
โ€ข When in doubt, contact organizers directly through their official website or social media pages

Unfortunately these scams continue to circulate within the event world, and we wanted to help spread awareness so our community stays protected.

Tomorrow is move-in dayโ€ฆ and that always hits a little different. ๐Ÿ’›

Tomorrow, 157 local Ontario makers, artists, and creative small businesses will start loading into Ancaster Fairgrounds โ€” each one bringing months of planning, late nights, early mornings, and no small amount of heart with them.

Not one of them is โ€œjust showing up.โ€
Every single vendor is finishing pieces, packing orders, pricing products, loading vehicles, checking lists, fixing details, and hoping that this weekend is a good one. A busy one. A meaningful one.

This isnโ€™t just a craft show.
Itโ€™s the culmination of countless hours spent making with tired hands and hopeful hearts.

We are proud to say we are the largest event of this kind in the area, and we donโ€™t take that lightly. Every vendor is carefully curated. Every space is thoughtfully planned. Every detail is built around celebrating Canadian small businesses and giving them a place to shine.
