350 Farms Haunted Woods is back, and we're looking for the people who make it terrifying. Set across our off-grid property under some of the darkest skies in Alberta, our haunts turn the woods into something guests won't forget. This isn't a corn maze with a few jump scares — it's a handful of carefully built haunts where atmosphere, timing, and commitment do the work.
Whether you're trying scare acting for the very first time or you've got years of stage, film, or haunt experience behind you, this is your chance to be part of one of northern Alberta's signature Halloween events. We want high-energy people with enthusiasm, work ethic, and a genuine love for Halloween to join our crew and share that with thousands of guests.
WHEN: Every Friday and Saturday in October 2026, evening shifts, plus 4 optional training sessions in September and 1 full run-through ahead of opening, and 2 takedown/ wrap up days at the close of the season. 15 days total. You must be available to work all shifts.
WHERE: 350 Farms, Cold Lake area, AB. Only applicants local to our area will be considered.
ACTORS & PERFORMERS:
Emerging Scare Actor: starts at $17.50/hr
Ideal for individuals with a passion for performance and a willingness to learn. No prior experience required — just commitment and energy. Background in film, TV, or theatre is an asset.
Veteran Performer: $22–$24/hr
Seasoned scare actors with demonstrated experience, versatility, and the ability to hold a character and a scare all night long.
Standout / Lead Performers: up to $32/hr
Our top performers — the ones who consistently elevate a haunt and bring others up with them — earn our highest performer rate.
SUPPORT POSITIONS:
Supervisor: up to $32/hr - 3 available
Oversees nightly operations and trains, supervises, and supports the scare crew, ensuring a seamless experience for both guests and performers.
Makeup Artist: (Rate TBD) - 1 Available
Creates realistic and terrifying character looks that enhance every scare.
Set Up/Checkpoint / Gatekeeper: starts at $21.50/hr - 2 Available
Manages guest entry, keeping access to the haunts smooth and efficient.
