APPRECIATION POST (from Michael MacEachern):
Thank you to everyone who showed up in-person and online to A Crossroads Christmas this year! Thanks to everyone's generous support, we raised $1500 for local charities!
It could not have been done without the tireless efforts of Leah Chisholm & Ruth MacEachern! Also huge thanks to Lisa MacDonald & Jean Kate for setting up the hall, Tara Dort for welcoming and directing people. The whole MacEachern family for helping tear down. My Mom and Aunt Marguerite for baking delicious cookies and serving people coffee & tea, Hubertina Stewart and Diane for hustling the crowd. And Wendy Hayne at St Joseph's Lakeside Community Centre for taking care of us!
Thanks to Maggie MacLean for keeping the show moving and keeping me in line!
Also HUGE thanks to David Overmars (Maple Heart Productions) for the OUTSTANDING livestream. Those who watched from afar were amazed at the production value!
And we would be NOWHERE without the hard work, positive attitude and go-with-the-flow demeanour of one Mr. Greg Barry. He is the lynchpin of the whole endeavour, kept us sounding beautiful on the soundboard, took on last minute accompanying duties, and was still able to crush his own set with Hers & His. Greg, your involvement has been a godsend and we are so so so lucky to have you!
Makes me excited to do the whole thing again next year!
