Almost every candidate we’ve connected with has told us recreation matters. What should help voters decide is how they plan to turn that support into action.

These are the qualities we want to see at the council table: preparation, innovation, urgency and the willingness to challenge whether current plans go far enough.

Read the candidate responses we’ve shared. For incumbents, consider their record alongside their commitments. Look for specifics, follow-through and a clear understanding of what our community needs.

Feeling overwhelmed? Ask someone you trust who has done the research: “Who are you voting for, and why?” Their reasoning can help you decide who aligns with your priorities.

You don’t have to vote for all eight. Choose the candidates you trust to move Abbotsford forward.

Vote with intention.
