Such slow going but so satisfying. We have a HUGE Coleus plant in our yard- I think it’s one of my favourites so it’s fun to add it to this body of work.

Turns out painting a mannequin is ridiculously fun. Today she got a sunflower on her butt cheek and honestly she’s never looked better.
Tomorrow night I’ll be live painting at Goody Too Shoes during the Downtown Mission Sip & Stroll — come say hi!

One of these is an original. The other is a print — but before it goes anywhere, I work into it by hand, adding highlights and depth that give it the richness prints usually lack. It becomes something personal. I love doing this for my collectors. Happy with this one, and it’ll be on its way to its new home in a few days.
