Maatswakgosi Arts Group is proud to announce that we have successfully honored the royal invitation to the Kingdom of Eswatini 🇸🇿, where we had the privilege to perform during the celebrations of His Majesty King Mswati III’s Birthday and the historic 40 years on the throne 👑.

Our presence on such a prestigious stage was not only a performance, but a true representation of Botswana’s rich culture, unity, and talent 🇧🇼. We stood tall, danced with pride, and carried our identity with honor.

These guidelines are a crucial step in recognising the value, professionalism, and economic contribution of performing artists across Botswana. The outlined payment structures affirm that traditional song and dance groups, such as ours, are not just entertainers,but custodians of culture, identity, and heritage.

Maatswakgosi Arts Group would like to inform all stakeholders, partners, and supporters that the group successfully held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, 7 March 2026 in Palapye, Botswana.

During the meeting, members elected a new Executive Committee that will guide the affairs of the group for the next term.

We congratulate the newly elected leadership and wish them success as they continue to promote culture, unity, and excellence in the performing arts.
