I still remember the criticism and the humiliation after dropping the first round of BokaMania clothing Line . Even though they were sold out, the feedback was not good. The design was good but the quality of the print together with the t shirts was not good. I was knocked. I made a lot of money though. More than salary ya bo Nurse combines three times in one month. The most important this is that I listened to them people who were complaining.

I then decided to pause the hustle to go back to the drawing board to see where I went wrong. It was not easy looking at the fact that the demand was high and there was no production. I then decided to finish with school before focusing on this hustle. It was just for the purpose of having a qualification.

The idea is to own a shop by the name BokaMania which will spread country wide.

After a long time correcting the errors, the clothing line will be launched officially in 2017. This time bigger and better. Different labels, designs and fashion styles. Caps, hats, hoodies, sneakers, t.shirts and all that will be available at BokaMania. The idea is to make a company owned by a Motswana to lead the industry.

Money is money you know. No matter how you hustle it.

As usual, festive season always brings excitements all in the name of local music. This is the time where we see lots of festivals, concerts and music awards. One of the exciting events that give our music industry massive controvecy is Music Awards, that is YaronaFM Annual Music Awards (YAMAS) and Botswana Musicians Unions (BOMU) awards.
It is with Botswana Television that we are given a chance to witness glama, humour and the aesthetic beauty of music. No one can negate the fact that music is a branch of art that is easily enjoyed by those at the far end, that is the listeners. It is with our expectations that nominated songs, singers and albums are those that have caused excitement in that year. For example, Shumba Ratshega ( 2014) released a song called Leso La Monnamogolo. The song was so huge that it romanced everyone's sense of humour. Expectation are that those kind of songs deserves to be nominated for the awards. This is the technique used when nominating artists, songs and albums. Even though YAMAS include only House, dance, hip hop and RnB genres only, they use the same technique in nominating their nominees. That is, they nominate looking at the vibe and the excitement that the artist displays.
With BOMU awards, the technique is different. Unlike Yarona FM which is a radio station, BOMU is a union. A union has its own afiliations. Bomu awards are only entitled to its affiliated members only. With Bomu awards, your song or album does not have to be a banger to be nominated. It only needs to be registered. This kind of action have caused a concern among listeners. One of upcoming local artist Lerapo WaLehipi (2016) have shown disappointment in his Facebook post saying that they will see artist they don't know being nominated. Instead of them building an empire of fans, they are taking the short cut of registering for BOMUS
every awards have its own controvecy. Let us wait and observe the music industry as it becomes more exciting. This is the time when we will see artist competing with each other for the love of music. Enjoy the aesthetic music brings
